During the consultation, we’ll talk about what your dream garden would feel like, and what you imagine doing in it. For example, do you want a dining area, space for children to play, a pond, or a lovely view from the kitchen for instance?
I’ll also ask about your garden as it currently is - what grows well, where it’s dry, or shady, or perhaps overlooked, and parts of the garden that need special attention. If a video consultation, it would help if you can show me around your garden using your phone camera.
You don’t need to know the names of plants you currently have or would like. I will help to work this out with you.
Towards the end of our call, we will set an approximate budget and timeline. This helps to ensure your hopes and expectations are aligned with your budget.
The initial consultation is free, and I will produce:
an initial brief based on our conversation; and
a next steps document for you to consider.
